There is so much waiting when it comes to children. Firstly the 9 months it takes for the little ones to be born and then every step is another waiting game. Weening, crawling, walking, toilet training, nursery, school.

As a mother I know that patience is key and when I have a newborn photography session with siblings I pull on all my experience.

This image is truly one I am thankful for. The big sister was a little camera shy to begin with, her parents were troopers though and really wanted an image with both of their beautiful children so we persevered and this is what I captured at the very end of the session.
